The Maitre Wars

By Virginia Carraway Stark and Tony Stark     The Maitre invasion is officially listed as starting in 2023 when the presence of The Maitre on Old Earth was announced but the actual invasion started many, many years before that. The invasion was a subtle affair and while widely acknowledged amongst ‘certain’ divisions in the military, government and civil sectors it was publicly decried as a mass hoax that earth had made contact with extraterrestrials. As decades progressed, part through a planned campaign of ‘naturalization’ on the part of the Maitre, part the effort of dedicated researchers, people came to … Continue reading The Maitre Wars

Dukh Project

Also known as The Spiriters, The Dukes of Doom All of the aforementioned are pop culture references to an above top secret group said to abduct and study citizens of the GAGA who are subject to extreme psi-oriented alterations to their genetic code. It has been long recognized on resource or toxin-heavy planets (like Sasha Wheaton’s homeworld of Dalton) that the pollutants cause mutation in the genetic stock of the inhabitants. Most of the alterations to the inhabitants are prohibitive to life. However, some are born with psionic, psychic and telekinetic abilities, as well as physical qualities, that are … Continue reading Dukh Project

Andrew Pierce

The head of the Department of First Contact (DFC), and Old Earth organization. This holdover from the days when Earth was a separate entity from the rest of the galaxy was created by a group of North American scientists prior to first contact by the Telamer. Andrew Pierce currently runs the organization with a quiet and unassuming dedication to predicting with uncanny accuracy when and where the next GAGA contacts with alien races will occur. Pierce uses the resources of the DFC to map the galaxy with an eye not toward resource utilization but towards the exo-bestiary. He also quietly … Continue reading Andrew Pierce

Galactic Armed Forces Starship Classes and Classification System

“Having the classes of ships explained to me was a blur until I was actually taken into orbit and saw them in the shipyard. I had absolutely no reality on the size of them- even the smallest were monsters when seen in a fleet! The SpaceCruisers, described as ‘instant war’ ,were too big to take in even when confronted with them. They were the size of large asteroids or small planets and they were armed to the teeth with weaponry. They even had dozens of lesser ships jammed into them and prepared for deployment. They could take down a rebellion … Continue reading Galactic Armed Forces Starship Classes and Classification System

Lieutenant Wheaton, Sasha

Sasha Wheaton was a fourth generation native of Dalton, a Second Tier resource planet in the Gamma Sector of the GAGA. Lt. Wheaton joined the Galactic Armed Forces at the age of seventeen, signing up at the Dalton Divide Station. Following an unremarkable series of postings, Lt. Wheaton was transferred to Detach Detachment as second Lieutenant. She has since garnered notoriety as a possible love interest for the GAF’s most famous commanding officer, Verily Wrought, currently head of Detach Detachment. A gifted artist, Sasha Wheaton’s artwork is also on display on Rio Caldo at the Empire Halmark Hotel.  It … Continue reading Lieutenant Wheaton, Sasha

Bluestone Maenad

Bluestone Maenad Although widely regarded as an urban legend, the disturbing psychological ruination of Sylvia ______ was all too real. Many dramatizations of the story, including the popular movie, ‘The Devil Made Me Do It’, include drastic variations of the story and portray Sylvia murdering people and resorting to cannibalism in her ruinous eating frenzy. There is little to no proof of either. The only facts of the story that are known are that Sylvia_________ was left to house sit for her aunt and uncle. She became the first ever documented case of a mental disorder known as Maenad Bulimia … Continue reading Bluestone Maenad

Alpha Quadrant

The Alpha quadrant is where some of the most expensive realestate in the GAGA can be found. The Telamar planets and Brandenburg both exist in this section of the galaxy, along with Victorinus Wrought’s private asteroid. It is the original home of the GAGA and still home to its headquarters on Telamar V. This planet belongs to the Telamer, the original founders of the GAGA, who later ceded much of their authority to natives of the Beta quadrant- in particular the bipedal inhabitants of Old Earth. Amongst the GAGA inhabitants less schooled in its history there is often confusion about … Continue reading Alpha Quadrant
